Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

If you want to remove items before completing the order, just click on the Basket button and follow the instructions.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

If you do not want to use our secure online payment service, you may send your credit card information via phone, fax or letter. The contact details are shown below.

Shipping And Handling

Postage and packing charges will be clearly indicated during the ordering process.

Please note that there is a minimum charge of £8 for packing and courier charges.

The delivery costs for non-UK destinations is shown for SURFACE mail. If you require despatch by airfreight, we will confirm the costs before the order is processed.

Shipping costs to some countries are higher than the general figure shown. If that is the case for your country we will always confirm that the cost is acceptable to you before processing your order.

The shipping cost for model ships have been calculated on the basis of weight and despatch by surface post. In some cases the couriers will only accept shipments by airfreight and they calculate the costs on size rather than weight, for example a 3kg package may be charged at the 15kg weight equivalent. We will advise you of any instance where this applies before processing your order.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally despatch your order to you in 3 business days . Delivery times will be according to the shipment method selected; non-UK orders are generally sent by International Economy - which means surface mail.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

There are no extra tax charges to pay.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of Perishable Products, Personalised Products or Sealed Products where the seal has been broken.

Notification of faulty goods should be made within three days of the goods being received. Our liability will be limited to the replacement or issue of credit against goods acknowledged by us to be faulty, providing such faults have not be caused by your misuse, negligent handling or improper handling.

All goods are to be returned at your expense.

If you need to return any goods, please wrap the package securely as it may not be possible to offer a replacement or refund on goods which are damaged during return transit.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
