Precision-modelled in the style of the great America's Cup racers of the 1890s - Valkyrie, Columbia, Shamrock I, Reliance - these display yachts are nothing short of magnificent. They have hollow hulls constructed entirely of wood whilst on deck there are delightful details such as adjustable rigging blocks, sewn cotton sails, raised gunwales and even brass protector bars on the deckhouses.
Large: 68" long and 68" tall (including all projections).
Medium: 46" long and tall, but otherwise identical.
Small: similarly detailed to her larger sisters in terms of rig and deck features, but has a solid hull, length overall 16.5", height 25".
Ocean-racing display yacht. Admired as the most graceful ocean racers ever built, the J-Class yachts of the 1930's are the acknowledged preserve of the very rich even today. Bermuda-rigged, the sail detail of this model is outstanding, including sewn battens down the leech of the mainsail and reinforcing webs in the corners of all her canvas. Rigging includes three spreaders and running backstays secured to the deadeyes. The numerous hatches and skylights in her maindeck provide a hint of the luxurious accommodation that would be below.

Beautifully crafted plank-on-plank representation in wood of a famous Redwing racer of the Bembridge Sailing Club on the Isle of Wight, a "one-deisgn" class originated in 1896. The name "Redwing" refers to sails, which must all be deep red. Bermuda rigged, she has a single jib and mailsail, canvas-covered deck, long shallow keel, cutaway bow and overhanging counter stern.
